Bank Holidays 2013
The bank holidays 2013 was published by surprise on Saturday; a day after the Deputy Prime Minister explained that the government would close before year-end holidays moving to Mondays after discussions with the Conference Episcopal, social partners and the regional governments. Next year will not change any holiday to Monday without an agreement. However, only two national holidays fall midweek: May Day and August 15.
In 2013 we will also have a holiday less than in 2012, eight in total, because both January 6 and December 8 falls on a Sunday. With this figure and considering that there have been no transfers to Monday, so will the bank holidays 2013 month to month, according to the BOE. Until the year 2014 there will be changes in the holidays and bridges.
